About this episode

As a person of color, you may wonder whether skin cancer should be one of your top health concerns. So people of color may not even think they can get skin cancer. Those who don't know may be surprised.

In this episode, I speak with board-certified dermatologist skin of color and pigmentation expert, and founder of the USC skin of color and pigmentary disorders program Dr. Nada Elbuluk MD, MSc, FAAD.  We talk about the myths people, specifically, people of color may have about their skin cancer risk, how easily skin cancer can be missed on people with darker skin, prevention tips, and more!
